"Hi Mark! Thanks for your feedback! I understand that insurance rates can fluctuate, which can definitely be frustrating—they’ve been doing so since the beginning of time. I do apologize for your premium increasing by a few dollars at renewal; no one likes increases, including myself. To clarify, State Farm didn’t require you to enroll in the Drive Safe and Save discount—you chose that yourself when you signed up online without consulting our office. I also understand that the DSS app permissions and State Farm’s pricing isn’t for everyone, especially when you requested no contact from us. Without the chance to speak with you directly, we couldn’t explore any additional discounts or options that might have been a better fit, as we strive to do with all of our insureds. If only I had direct control over the rates— man, that would be nice. However, I do always encourage people to shop around and find what suits them best.
